Uyku yaşam kalitemizi etkilemektedir ayrıca, yaşam kalitemiz de uyku kalitemizi etkileyecektir. İdeal uyku saatleri denildiğinde akla ilk olarak ortalama 7-8 saat aralığı gelmektedir.
